TCPOS Provides Complete Park Control

The challenge faced by the management at the 15,000 m2 Aquaparc located on the edge of Lake Geneva when looking to replace their existing EPOS system was finding a supplier who would be able to utilize and integrate the existing 1000 plus security lockers.

TCPOS AG was able to offer just such a solution working in conjunction with; P. Niklaus et Fils SA - Suppliers of Security Lockers, Admission Control & Wiring & Protocol SA - I.T. Services, Networks & Solutions Providers.

Visitors to the complex are issued with a LEGIC contactless wrist watch upon entry. LEGIC based readers have been integrated at all of the TCPOS Front End point of sale terminals through out the three restaurants, souvenir shop and even the Picsolve self service photo kiosks.

Money is no longer needed to be carried around by the visitors, only the wrist watch, which is presented at the point of sale for payment. Lockers can be hired for the duration of their stay, these again have integrated LEGIC contactless technology, ensuring personal belongings are safe and secure.

All purchases made by the visitor throughout their stay are charged to their account held within the TCPOS Database. Charges made are easily processed, reliable, secure and guarantee correct billing. Not until leaving the park are visitors billed for their purchases, including the admission.

TCPOS provides management staff with a wealth of information, at a click of a button it is possible for them to see current visitor numbers, average spends per head and compare them against budgeted forecasts.

All trading activities including Ticketing, Souvenir Shop & Kiosks and Food & Drink Outlets are administered and managed through TCPOS. To ensure that the outlets have sufficient stock available for the hundreds of visitors TCPOS has been interfaced with F&B Control, a complete Back Office from EGS - Enggist & Grandjean Software SA.

To the surprise of the Aquaparc staff installation was carried out in a very timely manner, 12 days! Which to a large extent was due to the Front End’s intuitive interface; Staff were, in fact, fully till trained within fifteen minutes!
