TCPOS Drives Historic Swiss Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre

Member Management Simplified

One of the challenges facing golf club Crans-sur-Sierre was in the management of its members, from membership renewals to transactions within the clubs restaurant, bar and pro shop.

TCPOS met the challenge.

Members of the club are identified at any till by their ASG (Swiss Golf Association) membership card. TCPOS manages their account from this identification. Once identified, TCPOS automatically applies a price level specific to that member. Members can check their account balance at any time at any of the tills throughout the club.

The TCPOS Back Office provides staff with all the necessary reports and information to assist them in the management of the clubs bars, restaurant, shop and more importantly its members.

Members in any one of the VIP rooms or saloon's have their orders taken by staff at their table by using TC Pocket POS. Orders taken are immediately transmitted to either the kitchen, for preparation of food orders, or the bar for drinks. The members thus enjoy a personal and efficent service from the comfort of their table not available through a standard till.

Most important is TCPOS's ease of use and reliability. Based upon Oracle's robust database technology it allows TCPOS to function within even the most demanding environments.

Installation was carried out in a very timely manner, which to a large extent was due to the TCPOS Front End's intuitive interface; Staff were, in fact, fully till trained within twenty minutes!
